hey everybody I'm starting something new lets share some tips with each other about anything....! it will be fun for everybody!!!!!!

My tip:
Use pledge as air refresher just before your OH comes home. Then he will think you have been polishing all day instead of messing about with the pigs and on the computer! x

ROFL Fantastic! I can't think of anything even nearly as good as this.

i always say to the OH i haven't been able to do much housework cos Lewis has been crying and not settling all day - it seems to work :)

Open two tins of rice pudding, into your own dish. Hide the tins. Add a knob of butter, sprinkle with nutmeg and bake in the oven. Tell everyone it's yours, no one will know the difference.

Buy Marks and Spencer food things, empty into your own dish, same as above.
xx

You are quite an expert at this .... :))

i know i havent been on this forum long but I'm thinking Nutmeg spends all day on here (as i do now eeeek hope i dont get sacked), this is why she has to 'lie colourfully' about the housework and cooking?

;)

Ha ha, it may seem like I am, but I switch my computer on in a morning and it's there all day. I have been logged on all day so far, but actually been to a 2 hour meeting at work this morning! I will be out shopping later, so no, I am not a sad computer case, just too idle to switch it off :)) :))

I'm the same, since i joined i cant stop looking every five minutes, maybe when i eventually get my new babies i will chill out a bit! drool

I just cant get enough...... rolleyes

Any tips on how to pretend I was decorating the bathroom?

You have your old decorating clothes on when he arrives home, stuff in the bathroom, and say how you were going to get started but the phone kept ringing, and people came to the door etc., then suggest whilst you cook a lovely tea he could get an hour's decorating in. :)):)) x

Then you revert to Rice pudding and M & S tips whilst he is not looking! ha ha

Jane your hubby doesn't read this forum does he? Hmm I have been known to use the Pledge as an air freshener on a number of occasions.

My tip is deny everything. A simple "I don't know, I've not seen it anywhere" diffuses so many arguments in our household.

:(|)

Read the forum? Noooooo.....too busy eating rice pud, and doing the odd bit of decorating. ha. xx

My favorite is leaving the hoover out and when I hear someone coming in the door, I quickly turn the telly off, get up and pretend like I've just finished hoovering the house :)) works a treat and when someone says "You didn't do this bit very well" I get all offended and tell them they can do it themselves and I usually get a cuppa and some biscuits as an apology :(|)
