We had a wonderful day, me and Charlotte (Romily) went to collect Bette from Helen (Hels). I could not praise Helen or her work highly enough. She was extremely welcoming, she lives in the most amazing place and she is such a lovely person who is just piggy daft!

I can honestly say I left not wanting anymore pigs, the pigs in her care are looked after to the highest standards. Her own pigs are so laidback, I'm surprised they are standing! You could happily stick your hand in and they continued to snooze or come over to you, I thought my pigs were tame!

The piggies are clearly very pampered and cages spotless. They clearly are that spoilt they were able to turn down my HERBS! Apparently they were just not the quality they are used too rolleyes.

Helens family is lovely and Daniel is so well behaved, although he was a tad excited but still who wouldn't be living in such an amazing place. He still was a little angel.

Last but not least the dogs, she has two Spaniels and I must say I've never met such well behaved dogs! They were both gorgeous infact I almost left with them!

I had such a wonderful time, the view, the place and all they piggies is a dream come true, I was really quite disappointed to leave!

Thank you Helen for allowing us to visit and for letting me adopt 3 wonderful pigs, You really are a Star xoxo.

Ps, I'll let Charlotte tell you about the rabbit ;).

I fell in love with Helens home and life today x)

As Joanne said we were made more than welcome and had ample time to coo over piggies and have lots of cuddles, unlike Joanne I could have taken loads home because they were just too delicious!

Never have I seen such relaxed happy pigs, it was amazing to see!

One wee soul stole my heart and that was the baby rabbit that Helens son has adopted she was tiny, white, fluffy and increadibly snuggly. I had to be checked on the way out the door to make sure I had left her :red.

Thank you Helen for letting us see where all the magic happens and for making us so welcome and at home -c

Oh and the dogs, oh the dogs drool

I admit it I lied of course I could have took them all home :)).

Ooo and Milo is just delicious, I cannot wait till he joins my piggy family!

Why do I have to live so far away :( Helen is such an amazing person and I can't thank her enough for bringing Eleanor in to my life. It was because of Helen that my Eliza became happy again after losing her cage mate Connie. Eleanor (aka Lilac girl) and Erin (aka Betsy) wave Hello :)p xx

It would have been lovely to meet Becky too as some of my wonderful ladies have come from her home! Becklen and Sokel have brought so much joy into my life!

It is very very hard to leave! Especially if you were leaving without piggies!

I was quite distaught my fairy tale had to end, and I had to leave all they piggies behind :(! Adleast I know they are well looked after :) xx

It was fabulous! Hours of guinea chat, a guided tour, loads of piggies to snuggle and the joy of Helens company (and Joannes!). Bliss.

Since I mention the adorable rabbit that belongs to Helens son I thought I would let you see what Princess Peach looks like

I so wanted to take her home with me but I couldn't break Daniels heart :(

maybe we could organise a forum guinea pig party at helens's? ")
we'd have to seriously bribe her hubby though:x :))
any suggestions?
Becca

We could be really sneaky and he would never know {:|

Well why not just have a Guinea Pig Forum meet up here at our Hotel - those who want to stay can book in and those who don't then don't have to.

Would need to be a quieter time poss November ish to get rooms but we could eat in the Restaurant (which would be odd for me ha ha) then come and have a piggy fest party in the piggy room which is certainly able to hold a good number of people - anyway I could send Graham out for the evening.

?

xx

sounds great idea Helen
