Very excited this morning! Pop and I are off to Windwhistle Warren for a spot of boar dating.
I so hope he finds himself a new BFF!

I spent a lovely couple of hours with Alice at Windwhistle Warren today.
We tried Pop with Norman, and with Derwent but it didn't work, so we tried with Forrest. Big Man Pop suddenly wasn't so big any more next to the ENORMOUS Forrest! No chattering teeth, just silence.
So Forrest it was!

Awwww great news..... been looking forward to the results from today .... really really hope it works out for them .... all good signs so far and all fingers and paws crossed here that they have a good night.

Aww bless, glad he has found a new friend, gorgeous too. Hope they continue to get along and enjoy a long happy life.:)p
 
They've been together for 3hrs and just had teeth chattering. What should I do? Just watch?

Great pictures! Forrest is such a lovely piggie and he's been at the rescue for a while, so i'm very glad he's got a lovely home.

I really hope these guys can work through initial chatterings! Leave them together to work it out unless there's blood shed. Suzy is really the one to ask though. Do you have 2 of everything in the cage so they're not fighting over anything?

Yes 2 of everything. Forrest is still in his hidey, Pop is sleeping with one eye open! Either the cage is coming upstairs or I'm on the sofa tonight I think to be safe
 
Is this normal, but since we've had Forrest, Pops testicles appear to be MASSIVE!
 
Hey i guess the lack of replies is that noone knows! I guess pop is trying to assert himself or something?!how are they getting on tonight? X
 
They ate hay together tonight! They ate both very quiet and still but all the yawning and teeth chattering seems to have stopped.
The only thing I am worried about is that I haven't actually seen Forrest drink yet - but he has eaten a bit of cucumber.
 
Do not worry. Some piggies do not eat much. He will be getting water through his vegetables.
 
My Bumble never drinks - only Honeys wee :)>>> - but before that when he was a lone boar he never drank either - my girls drink loads though.
