The weirdest thing just happened! Miley our house bun has a litter tray under the desk in our dining room and uses it regularly. Now, Toffee and Fudge (free range house sows) aren't litter trained, but I just watched Toffee waddle over to Miley's tray, hop in and pee! Just like that, out of nowhere :woot: When she was done, she hopped back out and toddled off across the carpet!
Has anyone else's pig decided that they wanted to litter train themself? I can't stop smiling! She's so clever <3

EDIT: the little sprite in question! You can see her equally adorable sister Fudge's nose. Sweet Fudge... not the sharpest spoon, but love her all the same! :luv:

Mine pretty much litter trained themselves. When I switched to fleece I kept a litter tray with sawdust. I think they were just use to peeing on sawdust, so started peeing in the litter tray. It's not 100%, but I have seen them leave their veg, go for a wee then come back lol.

Mine have trained themselves for floor-time. They don't ever pee on the carpet; they always go back into the pen. Probably because they're used to peeing in hay?

When I had a bunny named Shadow he lived in the house but went outside to an old hutch for his business! My guinlings are dreadful! Pee in their beds all the time!

Awwww bless her! Can you ask her to teach our girls please?

Clever girl! You should hire her out as a potty training pig! BTW my boys have the same names as your girl :luv:

Mine make special trips to the litter tray, not 100% but pretty good. They also never wee on the carpet at floor time. Now, has anyone sorted out the pooping?:))
