You know that weird chirping noise some pigs make? The rare one that you may go years and never hear? Tomie does it ALL THE TIME! I mean... several times a week. Usually in the mornings. She's chirping away as we speak. My husband gets up before me and he hears her regularly and asked me what it's all about. She is a weird little pig. I think she may be sending messages to the mother ship. The piggie invasion may be imminent!

Awww that sounds so cute. My two are very quiet. Percy wheaks occasionally and rumblestruts a lot. Pepper has never ever wheaked or rumblestrutted. Pepper makes more talking sounds to Percy.

Has she always chirped a lot or did it start recently?
Billie is also a chirper, but only occasionally. She usually does it when there is a bit of hormone driven excitement in the group or something else is slightly off.
She chirped a lot during the last months with Muffin and the first months with Odi.

She's pretty young (we got her last June), so it's been on and off her whole life thus far. She is kind of 'quirky' generally as far as personality goes.

My Beatrice used to chirp all the time. Then lovely husboar Merry came to live with us two years ago and from that day....not one chirp have I heard from her 🤔

I have to confess that I'm always a bit uneasy when one of my piggies chirps. I know that some piggies just seem to love to chirp, but with mine it was always stress related in some way.
