My baby piggie Monty seems under the weather, I'm fairly sure its due to the fact that him and Eddie shared a large cabbage leaf this morning and it has upset his stomach a bit. His tummy is a little puffy but no evidence of bloat thankfully! Poops are fine too although he was a bit uncomfortable when pooping. What I'm wondering is whether there is anything good I can feed him to counteract this? Or any dietary alterations to make for now?

@Piggly Am moving this to Health and illness for you it will get more views there.

Plenty of hay will help.

I agree that he needs plenty of fibre and also plenty of fluids. You could always add Dioralyte in as it helps replace electrolytes if he does get runny poos and also helps with gas. If he is uncomfortable Woodwards gripe water would help. I dose at 3ml every few hours but if he is a baby then he should have less.

Glad hes feeling better. When any of ours had a bad tummy we would gently massage their tummys in a circular motion to encourage movement!
