my piggies always have pellets , they are in the run all day eatting grass , have little bits of veggies through out the day and then at night i put some dried fruit salad in (the natural one from p@h). is this too much food? they don't always go out on the grass.

no doesnt sound too much to me, as long as your piggies are a good size not too fat.not too thin then your feeding them correctly, i think more is better where guinea pigs are concerned especially with fresh veg/grass..so that sounds good to me  O0

when they are not eating grass though I do advise hay to be put in place so they still ave something to munch on, and keep their teeth down

Make sure they have hay in their hutch/cage at night as it keeps the digestive system 'moving'.

If they get full up they won't eat it then you will know you have given too much, mine had just to much veg today and left some, obviously all gone on a diet for the summer ;D ;D

For me it all depends on how much hay they eat - if they are leaving it in favour of dried food, the dried food probably wants cutting down. If they are still eating loads of hay, it's probably OK.

They tend to know what/how much is good for them. Just aslong as nothing has too much sugar it's fine, because they only eat to fill their little tummies. Aslong as whatever goes in there is good, it's fine.
