I just wanted to know if there is any certain age to train a Guinea pig at my two little boys romeo and Rizzo have no training they can respond to things in there routine but if I try teach them a trick they cant stay focused for more than a few seconds. I have tried including some little commands into there routine but they seem to loose interest very quickly. There around 10 weeks old so they are still very baby ish. So I just wanted to know if there is a certain age where they can focus a little more

I'm afraid the only command that I've ever managed to get mine to follow is 'come and get some veggies', accompanied by a rustle of packaging. They're Very good at it.
I don't know if you can ever really train them, but someone might have a better idea.

I trained my other two boys to do tricks ino all Guinea pigs are different but my two boys at the start wouldnt do anything and now they do lots of tricks

It’s fairly easy if you have food in your hand! A few of my pigs do and especially Bella. I keep meaning to make a little agility course for her, I think she’d love it. She’ll turn clockwise, anti-clockwise and go through her tunnel... as long as I have lettuce! I started it about 6 months :)

Thank you

Mine one when I call them by their names. Meg is very shy and timid and will only take food out of my hand if she sees the others do it and she was born here (shop pregnancy I AM NOT a breeder) so she has been handled since birth.
