Hi! :)
We have unexpected "vacation" plans, and I had a few piggy-related questions. We are still unsure as to whether we can bring our pets, or not.
1. If we are unable to bring our pets, how can I stop stressing about the piggies? I foresee that I will constantly be worried about them and my dogs.
2. If we are able to bring the guinea pigs, what type of enclosure should I bring with me? They are used to having free-roam of my bedroom, but that will not be possible on vacation.
I think that the most likely scenario is that our close family friend (who has piggy and dog experience), will come to stay at our house while we are away. In the likely event that this does happen, how can I prepare our friend for piggy-care? I will definitely wash extra fleece and the veggies ahead of time. Do you think that it would be a good idea to make videos explaining my routine?
Thank you! :)
P.S.
We will not be leaving for 2-3 weeks, so I am praying that Stubbins has time to recover between now and then.

A video on how you care for them might be very helpful for your friend. Remember to leave a telephone number of your vet in case of an emergency. Also your mobile so they can send you video updates of your little darlings x
Most of all enjoy your vacation

I’d write their routine and daily food guide. And how you clean out the cage etc. And when you weigh them as well.

Thank you so much! :)
We'll only be gone for about four days, so luckily, I don't have to stress about weight. :)

I would say it would be better for someone to come and stay in your house.. that way it be business as usual for the animals. My parents have stayed at our house when we went away.... I wrote clear instructions on their routine etc...
