Hi all,

If I had to list all the things I'd never have expected myself Googling, this surely would top the list:

My two boars have had a bit of what I suppose is 'dominance' play today. Bill mounted Eric many, many times over the course of 30-40 minutes and when it settled I found some "pog juice" on poor Eric's backside.

Right. Into the bath with the two of you! However, the mat of 'stuff' has somehow solidified upon contact with the water, and it is now a very hard ball of 'stuff'. It's sort of the consistency of a hardened hot glue stick or perhaps hardened rubber cement.

Furthermore, Bill has, unsurprisingly, similar smaller patches on his tummy and both have short hair which makes combing it out surprisingly difficult and cutting it out a near no-go area.

They're both still frolicking (read: grumbling and pouting) in the bath tub, so I must get back to them and keep trying. But if anyone has any advice...the sooner the better!...it would be much appreciated!

Thanks very much. Must try to get out to Halford's and see if they have any.

It appears there may be several kinds...?

On a related note, Bill-pog has 'something' coming out of his bottom-area...around his genitals, more or less. I think that it's probably grass that got 'pulled' in when he retracted after finishing 'business' with Eric...and I'd like to remove it. But he certainly doesn't like me trying to do so.

I'm wondering if I'm safe to pull this out or should I let it be?

I'd recommend getting it out. Try easing it out smoothly. He won't like it, but it's definitely better out than in, where it could cause irritation and possibly even lead to infection

Thanks all. I've tried to get out to Halford's but spent 30 minutes in traffic without actually moving anywhere...turned back. (And this was only 14:00!)

Meanwhile, Bill's invading hay wouldn't let loose with any sort of ease with which I was comfortable, so I took him to the vet. Turns out it was glued to his bits rather strongly with the same thing he's used to decorate the backside of Eric.

The vet had a heck of a time getting it off and said, "Well that was novel...never seen that before!" She said I may do best to just clip the offending area on Eric...and I'm inclined to agree.

Meanwhile Bill's got a course of antibiotics for 5 days just to make sure no infection occurrs due to his nether-region woes.

And this was supposed to be my quiet day after working 'til 4am! :{
