When i got my piggies they were only small & we got them this little tunnel thing from pets at home. Now iv just realise how big they have actually got in the last week...

any suggestions on what size tunnel i would need?

have been looking on ebay

bu would appreciate it if i had help from the links from pets at home :)

I got mine the largest ones that you can get - think they were similar to the ones that Pets at Home have. Pampered Piggies sell them.

I just bought a 4-inch PVC pipe, they love it and its big enough for when they all get older, and only cost $1 at the hardware store.

Put it this way...if it says guinea pig size, I go with the rabbit size! Everything I have bought in the mainstream that is advertised for guinea pigs is too small - be it cage, pigloos, fiddlestix (bendy logs) etc. The rabbit size of commercial products is generally far better!

Hi Lil-roo, I would also recommend getting rabbit sized tunnels. Ive got a couple of expandable green plastic ones and made the mistake of buying 'guinea pig' size but I think I'm going to have to get the rabbit sized ones as one of my piggies is getting a bigger bum day by day and eventually he wont get in there (or even worse wont get out)! I also have a cardboard tube which was from a package I got in the post, its much better because its really tough cardboard and larger in size. Someone also told me you can get good cardboard tubes from carpet shops (they only bin them after fitting carpets) and they are nice and strong! So it looks like I might be loitering around 'carpetworld' in the near future!

If you have a wilkinsons near by they do those chubes for only £1.50 and they are about 2.50ish from P@h they are the orange ones so big enough for big piggies!

My boys have both cardboard and plastic tubes and they all like them. :)) My big boy Cheese prefers the cardboard one as he has a big bum and can only get through that one:)):)).

We use the carpet roll inners from the local carpet shop. Carboard ones.
We do that aswell. They do give us strange looks right enough. I never buy anything in guinea pig size either only rabbit. Poor Miffy can't get anything to fit him because nothing comes after rabbit size :))
