I bought some cheap turnips in Asda, thinking they might make a nice change for the piggies. But of course the fussy little beasts wouldn't touch them >:(

Guess what I'm cooking for my husband later ;)

I'm sure turnips were on the list of OK vegetables, but I seem to have a fussy pair of boys. They won't eat tomato or green pepper either 98)

None of my 9 will eat parsnip, tomatoes, turnip, peppers, cabbage or spring greens or cauliflower. Mine are fussy and they will eat all the expensive stuff like packoi and blueberries etc...

mine wont eat: turnips, parsnips, pepper, cauliflower or cabbage, they never used to eat carrot or celery but i was strict and now they do, the next food i will be forcing down them ;D is pepper :)

How do you force them to eat something? I have a picture in my mind of you prying their jaws open and forcing a piece of celery down their throats :D

Mine love carrot and celery but are picky about cabbage (they like kale though). I just tried some slices of nectarine and those got ignored too ::)

;D ;D i just keep putting them in and eventually they are so greedy they will eat them :) mine arent keen on cabbage or kale but like spring greens ::)

You can't force them, you just have to go with what they like and stick with it. ;D Mine don't like parnsip either or courgette.

lol ok i dont force them but with certain veg i eventually get my own way, and Louise you cant say much you strict mummy atleast your pigs eat everything ;D

LOL Kelly I know I am very lucky with mine they will eat whatever I give them except for parnsips and courgette. I've not tried turnip as I can't cut it up! ;D

Mine don't like turnip either - tried it a few times but they still won't eat it! They don't like courgette, cabbage on its own (they eat spring greens) or cauliflower.
