Twiglet loves the cool pad!

I trotted off p pets at home today and got this great cool pad for £10. You don't have to put them in the fridge and they just stay cool. Whilst Mr Red is still getting used to it twiggy loves it!



Then he moved around a bit!



And then he saw the camera!




I love this piccy of him! All his beautiful colours in his fur x)

I have just got one of these. Non of my girls seem interested so far, if anything they seem a bit scared of it. I also picked up an ice pod from p@h for 2.50 as they are being discontinued but they only had one so that is currently in the freezer chilling

Thanks for all your lovely comments about my handsome boy. The reason i got this is because they don't like the cold water bottles and knowing today was going to be so hit I thought I would try this out. I have to say both of them is edit in the end. I also hosed down the grass where they were to cool it down and they were traipsing through it so obviously quite liked the coolness on their tootsies. By the way what is an ice pod?

Icepods look very like the heat pads you can get i.e. bright pick and round.
The just act as a pet safe icepack i think.
Going to try the girls with it when it is frozen tomorrow and see whether they use it.
I found rosie asleep next to a defrosted frozen bottle earlier, as it had melted it made the sock covering it damp and she was just lying next to it , quite happily.

They are meant to be about £10 but because it is now discontinued p@h was selling them.for 2.50.
Well worth a look if you get the chance- but very limited stock though.

Aw thanks for the link, even £5 on pet planet is still a good price. Scratch n Newton is such a good brand can't understand why they would be discontinued. I don't think our pets at home had them though, sad as I really want one : (
