I today gave the 2 pregnant sows to Suzy to look after (she very kindly offered) so today I got to meet the very lovely Suzy and all her wonderful boarders. A super organised and knowledgable lady who has given me lots of tips and advice about rescuing.

I was so inspired on the way home I telephoned the lady wo was getting rid of all of her pigs (where the 3 sows came from) she had 1 pig left - a boar. I went and picked him up. here he is

He is 4 weeks old, tiny little thing. I thought for some reason he would be older and my plan was to put tessies boars in with him at 3 weeks. When I saw the teeny thing I realised he couldn't be on his own so I went to another lady who is always looking to rehome pigs. She sadly had this lad

His photo doesn't do him justice - you wait he's incredible looking. He's a lunky x aby,

She gave him to me as he has a croak, his breathing is VERY iffy. Apparently he's been like it since birth and he was housed with lots of others none of whom where affected. I am getting him to the vets first thing Monday. For now he's on fleece and vetbed and hopefully that will ease his breathing. He's 7 1/2 weeks old.

4 week old boar (HELP he needs a name) will be available to rehome in a month or so. I'll either wait and see what Tessies babies are and pair him up or if someone has a loan boar to try him with then that's okay too. No lone living for him.

Crikey! You've got your hands full ;)

They are two lovely boys, I'm sure they'll find new homes in no time. I hope the fuzzy little guy's chest gets better and proves to be nothing serious :)

They're both gorgeous. Good on you for taking them both and to Suzy for taking the girls. It's great that lovely people like you are there for piggies in need. xx>>>

Hope the vet visit goes well.

I thought the little boy looked scrumptious- reminded me of toffee cake- maybe Kipling. :(|) What's the older boy's name?

KIPLING! It's perfect!

How about the bigger one? He is currently nameless.

Mmmm... don't know if I can manage inspiration twice in one night. He has the look of an old soul about him, perhaps because he's always been poorly (he's stunning though). I keep looking at him and thinking James or Wilf and I don't know why- I don't usually go for traditional names. I'm sure you'll have lots of suggestions. :)

pumpkin then you can say hows my little pumpkin. You most prbably meet Skunky and Scruffy.? I was asked on fb if I wanted them. I said yes and took them up to Suzy. They are lovely boyz.

I LOVED Skunky and Scruffy - I love scruffy pigs. Suzy is a star.

Well done you on getting them together.

Maybe we can get a get together on the on the go for South Wales?

I think I like Wilf for him, Pumpkin is a defo contender for a girlie. :)

I didnt know there was so many guinea pig lovers near by. I told the people I would have skunky and scruffy the next day. I email Suzy but she didnt answer. I told my hubby before we went to sleep I was collecting two guinea pigs to foster in the morning. He didnt say nothing to me I could tell he was not impressed. Cos Suzy hadnt said yes. But I knew she would have them at some point. I didnt want to hand them over. But I got 7 hutches full and no free hutches except indoor cages. And hubby does not like animals in the house except my dog. Unless they are sick and need to be. Yes we will have to meet up at some point that would be good. There are loads of people on here that know suzy. -c

What lovely little one's they'll certainly find homes in no time! :)

What a couple of cuties. Kilping and Wilf - very good names! I'd have trouble saying good bye to Wilf though, he's fab!

Do hope you get his breathing sorted. I've only had a couple with strange breathing - having them on alternative bedding made no difference - Hamish was around 5 when he passed, he was rattley. Esther, the little blind agouti in my group, has a deformed chest, she breathes ok, just a little fast, she snores like a fog horn though, doesn't squeak but honks like a goose! So funny.

Wonderful boys, bith of them! I hope that you can get Kipling's breathing sorted out, poor boy!

You've cetrainly kept busy! I'm so glad you took the wee lads in! The little one has such pretty colours and the older is gorgeous! Doesn't his fur look a lot like Kid's?

Thanks everyone.

I have to say a part of me is hoping that Dickens (formerly Wilf) gets to stay - a bigger part hopes not as it means he gets well. But he is absolutely amazing looking to me. His fur when he's older is going to be divine! He's such a snuggly cute little boar.

Kipling is coming out of his shell too - he's going to be one who can get rehomed quickly (if anyone wants him) as he seems fit, healthy and all over well. He's still a bit young though only being 4 weeks.

I kept them both inside in the run last night as I was worried about a draft in the shed but been and bought a nice big curtain which will go over the door and prevent any draft.

Dickens is a lovely name for him. Really hope all goes well at the vets tomorrow. I can see why you've fallen for him.
Kipling is such a cutie, I'm sure he'll find a great home very quickly. :)

It does actually. I think his will be really long in the end. It's like cuddling cotton wool.
