Two years ago on 03.10.08 i adopted Gizmo.

Two years ago Gizmo came into our lives as a friend for Joey, i got him from Newport animal shelter. The lady Wendy who runs the rescue said he came from a neglected home and he was very thin, he had been with many other guinea pigs too but he was one of the last left, no one wanted him!

I didnt name him for about 2 weeks as i was terrified that he and Joey wouldnt bond. But they did and the live happily together, if Gizmo is taken out of the cage Joey gets upset and they share hay/veg etc. He is such a cheeky pig and has the loudest wheek ever! He has a big personality and loves cuddles and being stroked, he also LOVES to eat and eats all the time.

Thats Meg she is such a sweetie and Gizmo always loves to have a cuddle with Meg and runs straights to her when she comes in when they are out for floortime.

Meg is never unsupervised around the pigs.
She guards their run when they out on the grass and likes to lie near them to look after them!

Aww, thats so sweet! I wish I could trust my dog with the pigs . I suppose thats one good thing about him not living with me, I wouldn't be able to trust him at all .
