I'm doing a test to see if the blood is being passed in his urine, but I'm really worried about Harvey!
Tell me the honest truth please, can blood in urine be fatal?
(I'm taking him vets)

Blood in urine usually indicates an infection which is easily treated with antibiotics. Please try not to worry. It is good you are taking him to the vets.

Thank God! I can't bear the thought of losing him! x I'll give. Him a wash and clean his hutch out to prevent it from getting any worse! X
Thank you x

Washing him will not change anything as the infection will be in his bladder.

Oh ok :( I've noticed he doesn't want to eat his food at the moment either (_he usually snatches it out of my hand) x is this related?

Thank you. It started today yes. He doesn't make a sound when he passes the urine/blood.

If he is not eating can you syringe feed him?
He's eating, just not as much. I left a bowl of six pellets and left the room for about an hour and they are mostly all gone now.
I still have my old syringe from when Darwin was I'll. If he hasn't eaten much more (I put another five pellets in) then I will disinfect the syringe and make some foodies up for him :(

Please weigh him daily and hand feed if he is losing weight. Also make sure that he isn't dehydrated, especially with urinary tract/bladder problems. Good that you have booked him in!

Please ask your vet for a painkiller.

Good luck tomo. Hope all goes well. I will keep my fingers and toes crossed x

Thank you very much! I will do as much as I can for him tomorrow! x he's such a sweetie.
I'll make sure he's given painkillers!
And @Lady Thorneblood are they skinny pigs I spie as your profile picture?
x strangely (or not so strangely) my favourite breed :'p
