Umbrella - Hopefully it will be love!

I am going to see a young sow tomorrow with a view to being Umbrella's "wife".

I have searched everything rescue site and rang every RSPCA looking for a young sow to pair with him but there seems to be nothing. I am very protective over him so I am looking for a sociable, friendly, placid sow who will not hurt him.

Most sows in care are pregnant so I have contacted a lady who I knew from years ago. She has a gold and white sow who is 4 months old looking for a new home.

I don't want Umbrella is spend anymore time alone. He has been living on his own since March and is now coming up to 5/6 weeks after neutering. I want him to be able to be able to have fun in the garden run during the summer instead of watching my others having fun. :(

I will keep you posted. Please keep your fingers crossed that this sow is the right one for him ... he deserves it!
 
Hope it works. I can imagine umberella in a tux waiting for his new bride to popcorn down the aisle to him. Piggy weddings! Dont think it would catch on! Good luck with the bonding.

How exciting - I'm sure it'll be a great match! Who could resist such a sweetie?

She arrived on Tuesday. She has been very scared and literally did not move for two days.
She is getting a little better but only moving when she thinks no-one is watching! :))

She has been named Dawn (Dawnie as her nickname) - from Gavin and Stacey.

I think she might be a little pickle when she gets more confident - it's that cheeky face! She is indoors in quarantine at the moment and next weekend I will try to bond her with Umbrella.

Because Molly has lost her friend Milly and is now alone. I am hoping to bond all three together. So fingers crossed!

Sounds like Umbrella is going to be a spoilt fella with TWO girlies!
 
Aw, she is gorgeous. I hope it works out for her and Umbrella - he is such a gorgeous little boy and it would so nice to hear that he has a new wife.

What lovely pictures, she looks so demure with her delicate little pose and cheeky face, the pic has obviously captured her personality perfectly!
 
Awww, she is such a sweetie pie! Really likes the camera! Hope all goes well with bonding her with Umbrella! (Parasol is a cute name...lol) But which ever you choose....what a lucky little girl!
