My neighbour rehomed two 5 month old sows in Jan..see topic

Well the inevitable has happened, she wants to rehome them as her daughter doesn't look after them. I said I would help by rehoming on here but I was worried about them as they were right by the window in the heat :-\ so they are with me now :D

I have cut out their matty bits and given them a nail trim and nice melt and bath...here they are (their names kept being changed so I have named them)

Aren't they adorable? Fifi is a peru & Mimi an aby peru x I am pretty sure :)

I have 8 boars already and have the time, money and love to take care of these girls but my problem is room :( They are in a ferplast 100 which is way too small and my lounge belongs to the piggies I already have ;D I would have to get a bigger cage but where to put it? I may have to just foster them before rehoming, I will see....

I know >:( I said to my OH at the time she got them, I give it 6 months..well its been less but these girls deserve a loving forever home now :-\

I know what you mean Fi, same here we are running out of room!

They are lovely though. :smitten:

They are absolutely stunning girls, I don't think people realise how much work long hairs can be when they take them on, even if they are given all the right advice! Glad they're with you now. I've cut all my Perus and other long hairs really short for summer - poor things just can't deal with the heat!

Hope you either can keep them or find a forever home for them.

they are gorgeous girls, such a shame some kids lose interest in pets when the novelty wears of :( :( :( so glad they are with you ;D ;D ;D hoping you find the room or a loving forever home for the sweet darlings :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: love the bath pictures especially piccie 1 and 2 it looks like she is saying how could you do this too me what did i do? sending hugs and healing vibes to the girls :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: girls send :-* :-* :-* you're an angel for taking these girls in 0:) 0:) 0:)

They are beautiful :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: , I would keep them if I was you, can they not live in your bedroom, I have 9 in my bedroom, 5 large cages, it was a case of moving all the furniture around more than once, I use microwave brackets to put the cages on the wall, my bedroom never gets smelly and mine are quiet at night, apart from Harrison but I can sleep through him wheeking and running around his cage doing wheel spins with his feet.
When I fostered I had the cage on dining table next to the PC desk and it was lovely having them there to chat to me, now they are gone this room feels empty.
my boars and sows are in the same room and there is not any arguments among the boar pairs.

i wish i could take them, but i live in queensland you your probaly live out of australia etc....

I could have the cage in my bedroom but there isnt enough floor space for them to run around in :-\
I set up a playpen in the lounge away from the boys cages and that went well-Elmo & Hamish didnt mind at all! Two of my other pairs are giving eachother agro though ::)
