Sweet Potato
Adult Guinea Pig
I posted a thread last week with what was going on with Gundams hay poke and spirits bloat. So I just thought I'd give a little update.
Gundam was such a good boy having his eye drops and metacam and on Saturday he saw the vet who said it had all healed and he didn't need any more nasty eye drops. So he's back to digging in hay like nothing ever happened. I don't think he's ever going to learn his lesson. The plus side to all this is with all the extra handling he's discovered that fuss and cuddles really aren't as bad as he'd previously thought and now he'll happily enjoy the odd brief cuddle.
Spirits not doing quite as well. He took his meds like an absolute champion (which is good because it was my first time giving a snake meds and I was very nervous) he pooped on Tuesday which has relieved some of the bloat but his tummy still feels squishy so we're still waiting for more poop. He ate last night which shows he's on the mend but he's not quite right just yet.
