We has our vet helping us introduce Lily to Molly and she has been here over a week in a separate cage in the pen where Molly is.

The two of them were becoming buddies and yes we had hidden houses with man openings and places for Lily to get away.

I do not know what happened and our vet ha son answer except some pigs can not share room with others and are not herd oriented.

Lily is home and we are feeding her critical care by syringe to make sure she eats.

She is traumatized.

Poor Lily hope she hasn't got to many cuts. Are you keeping her out of Mollys cage?
We had 2 greyhounds once & they lived happily for about 6 months. Then with no warning one turned on the other, the damage done to her was unbelievable. God knows how many stitches she had & the bruises.
The attacker was back in the kennels that night. At one point we had 9 rescued greyhounds. Altogether.

Poor girl - it sounds like Molly has totally freaked out for some reason; what could have caused it you'll probably never know. It is definitely not normal behaviour.

To be honest, I would not introduce Lily to Molly ever again; she is too traumatised for that. Hopefully you can find a gentle adult neutered boar or sow to take Lily under her wings - can you get as far as either Auburn or Portland to speak with the rescues there for finding a suitable companion once she has fully recovered.
I would keep Molly as a live-alongside single.
