Well I am £69 poorer, but not as bad as it could have been. I had a follow up appointment this morning and left him there. My wonderful vet spent ages this afternoon, pondering and examining and feeling and thinking. Apparently he went over the teeth again, that the other equally wonderful vet has filed and agrees they are fine. There are no obvious lumps or bumps, the swelling in his neck has gone. His chest is clear, his throat it clear. His heart is sound, his breathing is normal. There is nothing untoward to see. He is bright, lively, massively underweight, but healthy.

They syringe fed him and I am now syringe feeding him, every hour when possible. Looked simple when she showed me, harder to do in reality. I was covered, he was covered, we broke the syringe

My husband came home and put the hutch back into two and Morph is now on his own. The only thing we can all think of is he is being bullied by Matilda, which isn't that surprising, she is a bossy pig. She is very that's mine, and that's mine, oh and thats mine too. So they think he had an underlying infection, got a bit down, she bullied him, he got worse and it has spiralled.

I have to syringe feed him for three days and go back on Saturday. Can't believe I have only had him 12 days rolleyes

awwwwwwwwww Morph whee all hope you'll be feeling yourself again really soon xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo
Good luck with the syringing i hope he enjoys it :)
Sounds like your vet has given him a thorough once over! -c

poor little morph, glad to hear he is hopefully on the mend, sending lots of piggies hugs to morph to get better soon.

I'm not sure he is on the mend to be honest. What if he doesn't start eating on his own, what then?

I shall hopefully get three syringe feeds in before work, but I know I don't get as much down him as they did in the vets. They would keep him and do it for me but I can't afford that.

All I can do is my best. Back at the vets Saturday

I have managed to get two syringe feeds down, not sure if I have given him enough, but I have to go to work now. He is in the run on his own, but not even sniffing the grass, just sitting looking miserable. Matilda can see him and is desperately trying to get to him, so I feel sorry for her as well
