All I can say is thank you, so much.

He's sat in his bed next to me he's about the same it distresses him to much for me to cuddle him I am trying to make these hours as special as possible in case there is nothing they can offer him and he needs to be put to sleep. :0
 
if ive had to take a guinea pig to a vets and there is the possibility of them being put down Ive never taken their cage friend along - its just personal preference.

The vet examined him and found a tumour in either his kidneys or stomach they gave me two options one was to have lots of invasive and distressing tests done the second was to put him to sleep.

Jason explained that he has successfully treated piggies with cancer however given the size of the tumour and the fact that he was displaying neurological symptoms as well he felt that even if we carried out the tests the end result would be the same and that he would need to be put to sleep as it was highly likely to be untreable. His opinion was that in reality there was only one real option and that would be to let my little man go.

I stayed with him through out, he passed away peacefully at 4.30pm :0:0

aww so sorry to hear that just think hes at peace now hes not suffering anymore thinking of you at this sad time x
