urgent advice please

ok so its me again but i really need some advice

my older pggy jazz was in his cage earlier andhe has a little shelf in the corner as a second level,

well earlier he went to jump on it but he missed and hit the corner, he then fell onto the floor and bumped his head, he was lay on his side and started fitting for about 10-15 seconds.

he seems fine now but any advice you can give would be very good? :(
 
are you sure it was a fit and him not just struggling to get himself up?

if he is fine now just let him be, keep a close an eye on him and just keep in quiet, give him plenty of hay to snuggle into :)
 
Mine have ran into things a couple of times then they kind of shake their heads as if to say 'ouch' lol! If he seems ok id just keep a close eye on him tonight but get him to the vets in the morning, thats just me though :) x
 
I would go the vets as well, any kind of seizure should be taken seriously. Twinks is always banging into things he just popcorns straight afterwards though! 98)

Is you're piggie eating and drinking? a quick trip to vets and you'll get the best advice :)
Good luck i hope all is well with Jazz.... perhaps he lost his footings cause he's a bit older. Can you perhaps alter his bedding area to help him?
 
hi evaryone just to let you know i took jazz to the vets and he was given a clean bill of health which is great news

That's great news, does the vet know what caused the fitting? :)
 
he just said that it may have been were he hit his head or it could have been were he fell on to his back and could not roll back over?

his my little fatty but i love them all :smitten: :smitten:
