hi guys
as you know i bonded my 3 boars yesterday. All was ok until 10 mins ago when 2 of them had a fall out over a pigloo. Blood was drawn - should i separate now?

if there is blood yes - if not, i would let them calm dow but it does sound like they are fighting badly.

be careful when you take them out - aguinea pig bite in anger can be a very painful and bloody one, so maybe wear gloves or some sort if they are still fighting as they will go for you too.

was the ground completely neutral, down the the bowls, etc? the place should be completely scent free from other piggies. Also they should have equal of everything to reduce fighting.

It is not very often that 3 boars will happily live together. If blood has been drawn I agree with Emily and would strongly recommend seperating to avoid more of the same. Have you got another boy you can put the third boar in with to make it two pairs?

It may be, some boar pairs live quite happily next to a single boy. However from personal experience, we have found that our first pair fell out as they were constantly trying to get into the single boy so we then ended up with 3 single boys. Is there any way you can find the third boy a new friend and position them slightly away from the other pair?

I agree, its a bit of a funny one, you know what men are like! hehe

Could you you not possibly double pair them off?

I honestly don't have the room for another - as much as i'd love to. i'll put his pen across from the others so they're still in the same room but not together. i'm gutted 8...
