Urgent pet sitting request, glasgow

I am not sure if I am allowed to post this, but I am a bit desperate!

I have not been on this forum for a long time, I still have 2 lovely guinea pig boys - Ludo and Hoggle. I am going away on Tuesday to visit my family and have just got of the phone to the people who were supposed to be looking after my guinea pigs and rats while I am away - they are snowed in at the top of an ungritted hill and it is highly unlikely that they will be able to take them.

There are a few small animal boarding places, but I simply cant afford them - it would cost around £150 for both the rats and gps, I have emailed a couple of people but I am not sure they can take them as I have not spoken to them for a long time and am not sure of their circumstances.

Is there anyone with a spare cage over Christmas and new year? Even if someone could take the guineas, I could afford the boarding place for the rats. I would happily pay you for your time and resources, just not as much as the commercial places want! I do not have a car so would have to get to you by train or bus So I can only really bring them in a carrier.
 
now resolved

Was just writing a reply and got a reply to one of the emails I sent and now have someone to look after them :) She is a rat breeder who has excelent knowledge, so it is a good outcome.
