My piggy got uri having trouble with him taking syringe so he missed out on his medication this morning even with one of us holding him he still would not take it any tips on what we could put on end of syringe that he might like

I hope he get's better soon.
xx
My friend said when you syringe feed them she placed the syringe in one of the corners of their mouth- maybe he would take it more easy from the corner?

I've had to syringe feed my guinea pigs as well as to give them medication, it definitely helps to put it in the corner of their mouths like Chief Guinea Pig said. I held my guinea pig close and securely to myself with one hand and just keep trying to put the syringe in the corner of her mouth, giving a little at a time and then taking it out again. In between little doses of her medicine I gave her a small treat so that she grew to be ok with it because she knew she would get a treat right after. Then slowly I lengthened the time I left the syringe in until the next treat until she could eat what was in the syringe at one time (still giving it to her in little doses so she doesn't choke but not taking the syringe out) and then got to eat her treat. She struggles much less now (well she isn't sick anymore so I don't have to, but by the end she was very good at accepting it!).

Bailey is a bit of a pickle anyway and he knows he is my taz when he had his spinal injury a few weeks ago he took syringes straight away never even had to take him out of cage he came to the bars
