Urinating guinea pig girl

I have two guinea pigs, both of which are girls around about 6 months old.
One of them has a tendency to urinate on you, I thought she would grow out of it, but every time I, or someone else picks her up a few minutes later she'll urinate, sometimes she can do this 2 or 3 times in a row.

The other one, does it very occasionally and it's rare, but she will do it.

Anyone experienced this before?

Oh yes!

They normally have a way of telling you when they need the toilet, my piggies love cuddes and attention and will sit on you all day long, but when they need the toilet they get fidgity and want to get back in the cage, so that is a tell tale sign they need to go. I made the mistake of ignoring this hint the other day and had a lovely big wee on my bed!

I dont know if its a sign of being nervous if she does it every time and so often?

She is the nervous one of the two, the one in my photo is the one that doesn't do it often, and thinking about it she is less scared and less likely to hide when I walk past their cage.

I give her as much attention as I can but it's difficult because I have horse duties and the other one to give attention to.

it is most likely nervousness if you could maybe she would feel more secure if you had both of them on your lap at once. Also when mine were young they used to do this so i used to give them a blanket to hide under because it made them feel safer

It is probably from nervousness.

Can you cuddle her in a blanket or a cuddle cup or together with her mate to make her feel more comfy (and you less wet).
