That closeup piggy face pic is absolutely gorgeous! x)

Am I right in thinking that they're on public land? If so, I'd be worried about them eating grass which dogs might've peed on as I believe dog wee is toxic to guinea pigs.

It is public land but it's the border of our car park around our flats. There is also a large area of greenery that the dogs pee and poop on over the other side. Never seen a dog on the bits I have the guineas on. :)

You do have to be very careful of public land as the chances are the grass/area is treated with various chemicals/pesticides - which can also be harmful to piggies.

While you've never seen any dogs on the patch of grass you put your piggies on, doesn't mean they haven't actually 'done their business' there, not all dog owners are responsible ones and some will let them fowl where ever suits :{

I would be very cautious about putting your pigs on any land that you cannot be 100% certain of.
