hi so i’d like to change my pigs diet to a healthier alternative. i’m going to slowly change them to the sample diet @Wiebke posted. can i change the spring greens to something else? i can’t get them where i live. would escarole be ok? and can i give them an additional leaf of belgian endive?

You can mix things in as you wish. Spring greens have higher Vit c whereas Endive is on the low vit c list so if you can’t get spring greens, then I’d pick something else from high Vit c list to ensure the balance of nutrients. That doesn’t mean to say that you can’t give an extra endive though.

Below is a list of all the safe veggies.

is it okay to feed endive daily. escarole is a type of endive but it has higher vit c. is it okay to replace spring greens with this?

Everyday mine always get spring greens, coriander, romain and cucumber. I mainly change the colour of the pepper or I swap cucumber for another herb or occasionally a little bit of carrot
