Due to poor Amazon service my groceries weren’t delivered today. Queue much complaining. I’m never using them again so done an asda delivery earliest is Saturday.

The question is this means my pigs will be without veg until Saturday. Should I give them extra pellets? Will they be ok

Don’t give extra pellets, give extra hay. Can you pick them some grass a few times a day instead Of veg?

The will be fine (but not too happy with you lol). It would be great if you could find untreated grass for them as @Piggies&buns suggested.

They will probably drink more water without water content from their fresh veg, but I also wouldn’t give more pellets. If you relied on bell peppers for vitamin C, it would be good if you have some way to supplement vitamin C for the next few days.

Thanks. I’m trying to think of where there may be some grass, especially safe grass untreated. Downside of city life there’s not much green around here! I think the parks wouldn’t be safe

hmmm, yes a public area wouldn’t be a good idea.
Is there a friend or family member who can get some veg for you?
Otherwise, just ensure they have lots of hay and feed the normal amount of pellets. They will be fine, probably grumpy, but fine!

I live alone and family are literally other side of country. I designated someone as support bubble as allowed and we get exercise every Thursday. I’ll see if they can get me something to tide me over. Good idea I hadn’t thought

Hay and fresh grass both contain vitamin c. The pellets are also fortified with it, so there is no need to give a supplement for those few days.
