I’ve heard on a few YouTube videos that you’re supposed to feed guinea pigs 10% of their body weight in veg.

Jaffa is 1,208g - 10% is 120.8g - lets say 120g
Fudge is 1043g - 10% is 104.3g - around 100g

That’s like 220g a day of veg which is quite a lot!

What do you guys think?

Or if (like me) you don’t weigh the veg, aim for a cup full. I give a cup full twice a day so I’m probably over feeding but a lettuce leaf like little gem is bigger than a cup so what to do?

Also I’ve been informed that veg should make up 10% of their daily diet rather than their body weight :hmm:

I don't go by anything on youtube! I go by what the vet says which is more or less the same as the forum. If in doubt I always ask the vets.

Have never weighed my veg.... just give the same amount each day..
