Hi! I know that piggies need plenty of veggies everyday, but I cannot get mine to eat fresh ones. I've tried all the sweeter ones, since he likes sweet fruits, but he will nibble on it and refuse to go back to it. I've tried to leave it where he can get it whenever he wants, but I end up having to throw it away as it gets brown or goes bad. He loves grass and some flowers, but refuses to eat carrots, celery, lettuce, or anything. Does anyone have any tips?

Keep feeding him grass but introduce a small bit of veg, next day offer the grass with exactly the same veg. I think it takes several times of piggies trying something before they eat it.

Is your piggy living alone? Young piggies learn what is safe to eat from watching the others around them so if he has been alone at a young age and alone he will take longer to learn what is safe to eat

He is currently alone, but his cage mate is coming next month! Thanks for the tip! He was about 6-7 months when I got him, and he did not have a cage mate then.

Ah its likely he hasn't got a clue what you are offering. I had one like that in the past. Offer a small slice of something and leave it til it needs binning. Next veg time do the same. He will get there in the end and is likely to oerk up once he has company
