Noticed my two pigs poos were bit smaller than usual and got me thinking about how much I should feed them. I use to feed them a bit much when they were little but now I'm not sure if I feed enough. They get about 12 pellets each so that's 24 pellets scattered around the cage for foraging and a small handful of veggies.

I'll post a picture of how much veggies I give them and a picture of their poos at the moment. Thankyou

They should be getting unlimited hay and a cup each of veggies. Mine get a tablespoon each of pellets but one doesn't even touch them.

Sorry I'm quite a visual learner, How much would a cup of veggies look?

Hm.. I'll try that tommorow morning. Do you think their poos look okay?

Mine has some like that but my other one's are a little longer. Are you weighing them weekly on a kitchen scale and are they maintaining their weight?

I weigh them every Wednesday and I think they are.

Their diet should be unlimited hay.
You know they are eating enough hay by their weekly weight checks.

They can have one cup of veg per pig per day. A cup is a specific unit of measure but mostly used in America not in the Uk.

They can have up to one tablespoon each of pellets

There is a sample plate in this guide as to veg quantity which you may find useful as a visual aid
