Just come back from lidl and bought the following

Whole largish cucumber 37p
Bag of Curly Kale 37p
Very Large Swede 34p each
Purple brocolli 49p
White cabbage @ 34p per kg

It was sooo cheap I couldn't believe my eyes!

Lidl quite often have half price veg and fruit on offer - I always keep an eye open !

Think the cashiers wonder what on earth I do with it all when I buy loads :))

I was in Lidl on Monday & none of these prices were showing :( Shall have to go back tomorrow :)

I'm due to restock on multivit juice so I may go later on at the weekend or Monday. Thanks for the tip...:)

Good cheap veg offers in Lidl this week too, cauliflower and broccoli only 49p each. Got a very funny look at the checkout as I went through with a pile of each!

If you are a gardener their seeds are fantastic value too, we bought some this year and have been amazed how many you get in the pack for the price, we planted lots out last weekend and they are showing signs of growth already so they must be quite good quality too.

thank you, told my mum and got what i would usually buy for a weeks worth of food for about £2, usually its about a fiver! :))
