to cut a long story short, I rehomed two big piggie boys 6 weeks ago, they were well cared for but not handled so I have been attempting to give them a small amount of lap time each day, one piggie boy loves to sit on a lap and the other one, I have discovered likes to be up on my chest...well this morning my daughter gave me one to cuddle, for the first time ever he sort of snuggled into me and relaxed....no struggling or head butting...and then...he began to very quietly chirrrip...and then to my astonishment he began to vibrate! lol thats the only way I can discribe it ! is this normal happy piggie behaviour? I hope so! he did it for a few mins so I made myself late for work! I couldnt bring myself to put him down seeing as it was such a break through! x) I am just hoping it was so please let me know to put my mind at rest! thanks

Some piggies can purr and vibrate like cats - you have a very happy boy indeed! :))

:(|) one of my little sows does this every time I fuss her - first of all I thought it was a signal for me to leave her alone but she sits with her head held high waiting for chin tickles now x)

Yes that often means they're relaxed, my piggies have 'sensitive' patches and when you stroke it they go to sleep!:)
