Hello everyone!
Just a few words about Wagg food. I have two young piggies that were on Wagg when I bought them so I had to buy some. I read somewhere about Wagg Optimum pellets and searched for them. (I prefer pellets to muesli as they prevent selective feeding). I found what was packaged as Wagg Optimum at Wundapets. co.uk. £4.69 for 2.5kg. I ordered two bags. The next day, I got a phone call from Andy at Wundapets. He said that Wagg Optimum is now packaged as Harrington's Optimum , it is exactly the same pellets, but in 2kg bags. What's more, he offered to send me 3 bags for the same price so I get 1kg free! How's that for good service? I think some people on the forum have said that Harrington's is not the same as Wagg. I've not seen Wagg Optimum before so I won't know the difference, but Andy says they are the same thing.

Yep! Its the same thing - just re-branded (it does look posher now)

I’m pretty certain it is the same thing, i think they’re trying to look a bit more up market now but it’s always going to be beaten by bigger names such as burgess.

Burgess has a very high calcium content to Harringtons / Wagg Burgess is 8g per kilo where Harringtons is about the 2.5 - 3 mark depending on whether you use the nuggets or the museli

The girls are on Harringtons/Wagg, just a name change and Miss Moo is on Burgess.

Have tired getting them all on the same thing... but no luck as such.

Didn't know about the calcium in burgess - thinking about changing mine. Anyoneknow of an alternative that I I can buy in carlisle that won't cost a fortune

The lowest cheap alternative to Burgess would be the Harringtons / Wagg - the museli is lower than the nuggets but a lot of the museli gets wasted ,so I would go with Harringtons nuggets - all of mine love it and it is still nearly 5g lower in calcium than Burgess and about £3 a bag.
