well, today i went to pets at home to get some goodies for the piggies and bunnies.
The piggies they have in at the mo..himis and abbys! (i think 8 rosettes is a full isnt it) and they had rexs and a hare with the bunnies! Ive never seen them at a petstore before.

they also had a few in adoption, including 2 girls.. one had a lump on the side, which from pics on here looked maybe pregnant? I asked but they said they did not think she was.. my question is (cos i havent had a girl) would there be any other signs? I can not get any more, esp not sows, as i have 5 boars, but had concerns..

Thanks

thats odd ive never nown them to have pure breeds only if i lived up there i would get them guineas i got a 2 females from a pets at home in canturbury kent once on the adoption and she was big but wasnt pregnant...i dont know what it coud be

They had himis in the one I was in last week. One looked like Misty and I stood for about half an hour thinking will I won't I.... In the end I never but the piggie was running around squeaking like Misty used to. I'm still wondering if I should go back or not but I know that I don't really want anymore piggies just now with getting a puppy. Hardly ever see himis in pet shops here. They had 2 rabbits in the adoption centre both of them were terrified and ran as soon as anyone went near the cage. They also had a giant rabbit in.

Me neither.. was tempted the abby is gorgeous but would never get from a pet store again..

Maybe she has just eaten a lot? lol.. i was just worried someone may "adopt" them and if she was pregnant, the babies end up back in the adoption centre.. One of my boys when he has eaten loads of hay looks pregnant lol.. but def a boy! :)

I just posted some pics in the pregnancy section - might that help? Leaving a lonely or once, a pregnant piggie in p@h is always hard, but if took them all home, i'd be running a rescue!

I would contact head office about your concerns, whatever people say about pets at home their head office is usually very good and caring about the animals. :)

I love your babies! they are gorgeous.. I BET YOU ARE SMITTEN WITH THEM X

I'm just a sucker when it comes to fur..i want to "rescue" them all lol..

We were only meant to have 2 piggies and 2 rabbits.. i have now got 5 piggies (6 very soon) as my original 2 rescues fell out, i got 2 from pets at home to bond with them... they were ill, on the mend now, but cant split them.. so we had to get 2 more lol..
i have 10 bunnies due to a surprise pregnancy of 8 babies lol..

good job i love them! XX
