Can I wash my pregnant female with baby wipes? Her back end is all wet I’m pretty sure from pee though maybe she’s gonna give birth soon cause she’s 8-10 weeks along

They are hypoallergenic, alcohol free, paraben free and dermatologically tested

They’re cocoa and shea butter huggies wipes

I wouldn’t use anything like that at all. Use plain cotton wool and warm water only is best. If you are at all concerned have her vet checked for UTI infection x

I agree. I’d just get the vet to check her over as she shouldn’t really be soaked in wee. In the meantime a flannel or cotton wool with just luke warm water would be ok for a little very gentle wipe

Ok thanks yeah I switched her back to a loose bedding from fleece cause I hadn’t had the time to make cage liners so it was just fleece in her cage and the fleece kept getting gross quickly I was ending up changing them 2times a week and she’s just too big to clean herself right now but I’ll clean her up and keep an eye on her cause I don’t wanna stress her with a vet visit right now unless needed plus if she doesn’t have her babies by the weekend I’m setting up another vet appointment to check how they are doing

You need something underneath the fleece to hold/absorb the wee. Either (washable or disposable) puppy pads, newspapers, towels, mattress protectors etc. If it’s just fleece then it’s likely staying damp and not wicking away from it as it has nothing to go into.

She had her babies yesterday and over the weekend I switched to loose bedding cause my mom was really not likeing the mess in the washer

You can wash fleece in a duvet cover, pillow case or horse wash bag. Then you don’t get hair and hay in the drum
