I don't think my water bottle for my ginuea pig is working. The old one I use to have was obviously working as it dripped and I could physically see it being depleted. But this one doesn't drip and it's seems like it's not working cuz my ginuea pig is sucking it and it seems like nothing is coming out although it does say no drip nozzle so maybe it is. So I'm just asking are they supposed to do that or is this one defective

What kind of water bottle is it?
If it's one with a silver ball at the end, it should just move around freely and you can feel and see the water leak.

you it's one of the silver ball ones and it's not leaking at all nor does it move freely

When the pig is drinking from it, watch for air bubbles going up inside the water, that means it's working, a good bottle won't leak

If you’re concerned you can always put in a small water bowl.
But, I agree, you should be able to tap the water out—a good bit should get on your finger :)

Don’t forget to clean the spout often. When I’ve sterilised then bottle I give the spout a clean with a q tip (cotton bud) and rinse. Surprising how much crude comes out.
