Can piggies drink from a dish instead of a bottle? Although the piggies can just about use their bottle in their home made cage, I have provided them with a water dish as well just in case.

My piggies have a water bowl. I was fed up with the bottles dripping everywhere in the warm weather (can you remember warm weather?) I change it everyday because they put their front paws on the edge of the bowl and sometimes poo and bits fall in!

Mine have a water dish and it does get mucky. I had water bottles that dripped all the time as well, so got fed up with them and changed. The dish is fine - they have been known to walk through it deliberately in the summer to get cool feet!

mine have a water bowl during floor time as I have no where to put it in the bathroom:)) I know they drink from it as they have little wet mushies:)):(|)

Our piggies came to us having only drunk from a bowl and are not keen at all at drinking from a bottle. We have a bird dish I think, it has clips that go onto our c and c cage if that makes sense? This way they can't tip it over, although it can still get mucky!

My trio have a water bowl as well as bottles. They love lapping it out the bowl but I do change the water four times a day because they poo in it rolleyes.

Our younger piggies have a watter bottle, as they are on fleece and a certain naughty piggy likes tipping bowls over but our older piggies have a water bowl and they have had no problems with it. We just have to clean it out twice a day as they get poop, food and fur in it.
