water

Do you mean bowl or bottle for them to drink from? We use a water bottle

I have 4 "Classic" bottles on the hutch which I sterilise every 4 weeks in Milton. I use filtered water for them too.

The glass bottles from pets at home, they come with a little carrot float for easy level checking. And i also use a brita filter

I use the ferplast sippy bottles. Used to use the classic ones but recently changed over and have so many less leaks with the ferplast ones

We have 3 of the "classic" water bottles on the cage and always at least a couple spare in the cupboard just in case, though they last pretty well and I've only ever needed to replace one so far when Theo made it into a shower for his ears in the heatwave :)

Clever boy :))

Ours were used to drinking from a bowl when we got them, but I've managed to change them over to a glass water bottle now. No more spilled water dishes!

I have two sippy’s in their cage, two traditional water bottles for outside run and hutch and a small hamster size bottle for their playpen as the Holder hole will only fit this size bottle. They have never drunk much water so I just keep an eye on that one and top it up if needed and give them cucumber.

I havent seen my new piggy drink from her bottle yet. Do i need to show her how to drink from it? She is eating and pooping fine. Doing zoomies and popcorning so happy and healthy?

I use a bowl, it's easier for me. I think a bottle may be more convenient for most people, though, as I have to change the water about 5 times a day due to them pooping inside - maybe it's a way to cool their behinds, we live in a boiling hot weather. :woot:

Just joking. It's probably just the result of zoomies, but I gotta say the water corner is their favorite to poop in.

I use a bowl.
And I use a bottle from living world its plastic. We got it from jollys.

I've never once seen them use it.

If your using a bowl I recommend and heavy ceramic one so they can't tip it over or chew on it. Clean it 2 out 2 times a day as they get bits and bobs init. Although if hay gets init they seem to love eating it when it's wet.

She will learn how to drink from it, just make sure it’s at the right height for her to reach the spout. Also is she alone? As another piggy would show her how it’s done.

I use a Classic bottle during the day and they get a ceramic bowl at night now (last month or so) because Chewie has decided that the spout is for yanking aggressively and when she yanks it, she does it so hard that the table the cage rests on bangs against the walls and we can hear it in our bedroom

I use these too and I love them! Haven’t tried filtered water though as I’m afraid it will taste different to them (it does for me!)
