I woke up this morning and Ganon had watery stool. He doesn't seem to have any other symptoms of feeling ill. He eats, plays, popcorns, and drinks plenty if water.

We were cutting up peppers yesterday and gave them more peppers as treats than usual, and I also put peppers in their daily veggies. Could too many peppers cause this? Or should hebsee a vet immediately?

He's only done it once as far as I can tell. Should I hold off and see if he does it again?

Please see a vet promptly when a guinea pig has fluid diarrhea.

Stop all fresh food until 48 hours after the poo has normalised. Make sure that your piggy is eating enough by weighing daily at the same time and topping up with syringe feed. Hydration is vital; offer as much water as he wants to take and add some dioralyte(UK)/pedialyte(US) to it; follow the instructions on the packet.

Okay is it loose a bit squishy or water so Diarrhea?

Has he done anymore poop? Are they more normal?

It was water. I know he had it sometime between six and nine this morning after I got up to feed them their pellets and then went back to bed. It's almost one in the afternoon here now. I've checked over the cage and there isn't any more. All poop I can see looks normal, though I can't really tell what's Ganon's and what's Dibbler's.

Ganon seems fine. He's active as ever, and he's been happily munching on hay and pellets all day. I see him drinking also, and I'm going to try and get him to take a bit more water than usual to help replace whatever he lost.

If I see any more I'll make a vet appointment for tomorrow.

Fiancé and I were doing a lot of veggie cutting yesterday and looking back, I hadn't realized how much watery veggies they got yesterday. They're going purely on hay and pellets the next few days and I'll see if that settles Ganon's stomach.

Just want to preemptively add I know the diarrhea was Ganon, because it was on the ledge in their cage and Ganon is the only one who can get up there.

Update on Ganon: There hasn't been anymore diarrhea since yesterday morning, and he's still acting normally, so I think he's good to go. :)
