We met a Patagonian Cavy!

Wow how cute is he! Although I think I’d need a much bigger house if I wanted to house this guy 🤣x

He was very tame and social! He looked like a deer mixed with a kangaroo mixed with a rabbit and a little bit of guinea pig thrown in.

I've never actually been to a pet expo- were there were all sorts of animals there?

Yes there were rescues, vendors of pet supplies, and unfortunately some breeders there. They were all exotic pets.
 
I’d (dream-world) like an ardvark. I met some at a zoo and they’re really sweet. Totally impractical and I don’t really like wild animals as pets, but very cute. Also tapirs. They love good scritch!

Breeders are not always a bad thing, if they are using healthy guinea pigs, and not over breeding them and then selling them to petshops. But obviously rescue is the first choice for all of us here 👍
