Weak 4 week old piggy. What to do?

2 of the preloved pigs are underweight and very small, one sits hunched in the corner all the time, what can i feed him to perk him up? I have some Goats milk could i feed him this on a tea spoon? If so how much?

You can try him with goats milk (Is it for Kittens/puppies?) either from a spoon, syringe or soaked into bread.
You can feed him as much as he will take. Is he feeding on his own?

How much does he weigh?

one ways 124g the other 224g. the lightest one is ok it's the othe that is concerning me. i bought just ordinary goats milk, i take it thar's not right?
 
I use Lactol milk for puppies and kittens and found it works well, if you are going to feed baby it is best not to give him/her to much but little and often so that they dont got to full to quick but also at 4 weeks its more than likley drinking out of the water bottle and it may take a while for it to except any milk off you but perservere, I find that soaking the milk in brown bread works best and that way baby can suckle at the bead at its own pace
 
I've used Goat's milk (full fat) with babies who weren't getting enough milk from mum - as above, soak brown bread crusts in it and they lap it off, or let them suck it off a cotton wool bud. They might also lap up runny critical care?

124g is far too tiny for a 4 week old - I've had piggies born at that weight! They should still be with mum, even if she's not feeding them, as she will clean their bums to help them poo etc. and offer warmth and comfort. They're probably stressed from the travelling, vets and new surroundings

if i put him back with mum and the other pig she is with will it not really tire her out and also would they not try to mate with her?

Shall i dilute the goats milk?
 
I don't dilute the goat's milk, they usually quite like it and it's closest to gp milk. Lactol is fine too.

And as for mating... have they shown any signs of purring / mounting? I agree at 4 weeks they should be taken away from mum but these seem so tiny and unwell :(
 
I too would be tempted to leave him with mum is hes so tiny as matings possibly the last thing from his mind.

sometimes if Ive manged to find Organic Baby food Ive used this aswell but only as a last resort but organic seems best.
