Does anyone have any good sites for cheap but good guinea pig cages?
I need one ready for Christmas.
I'm doing alot of moving around between Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and I don't want to leave my piggies at home, with drunk family members.

I'd prefer them to be with me but I want a decent cage.
I'd go for C&C since it's easier but my mother has a cat (I admit, Amy is terrified of my piggies, but I still don't dare risk it. ) but some of them are so expensive.

I just don't know where to look, a few sites I've checked...Seem very expensive.
I don't want to pay tons of money if I can get them cheaper.
The cage from Argos was awesome! But I checked and they're sold out...

My cunning plan is to borrow my brothers spare cage and put that are my Grandparents house a week before, taking a bag of hay and some newspapers, so I'm ready and then get my own, so I can keep that at my mothers until Christmas, too.
That way, when I'm with my Grandparents Christmas day, my boys can stay there with me and when I travel to my mothers late Christmas night, they can come with me and spend boxing day at her place with me.
It's only a short trip between each place but I hate the thought of leaving them...Especially at Christmas :(
(Like, really...It's 10 minutes between here and my grandparents, by car, and five minutes between my mothers and my grandparents. )

You think I'm going to too much trouble?

Have you tried ebay? I saw the Rabbit 100 for less than £40 including postage (it's £55 in my local P@H). Alternatively, what about the free-ads (or even something like freecycle if you have it in your area)?

I don't think it's silly - ours are coming 300 miles with us for the holidays!

That is where I got my cage from when I adopted Nerys and Nia, although they do not have that model anymore, I think.

Aha! That's somewhere I haven't looked! xx>>> Thank you muchly!

Glad to hear that I'm not the only one who's making sure their piggies are with them for the festive stuffs. :)
And thank you. I had no luck on Ebay, actually but Freecycle is a very good idea. I forgot about that place.

My girlies come with me on holidays too, i have a suggestion that you can use as a temporary cage which is a material puppy pen that has a floor and a lid(both removable), that we use at our parents house even has somewhere to put the water bottle! which means in the summer we have a run they can go out in whilst we are away too!

Omigosh! I've wanted one of them for ages and haven't been able to find one!

Thank you! :<>

This could be the answer, too!
