Crumpet, Cola and Smarty are 3 longhairds that came in recently they are still staind yellow underneath even after several baths.

My longhaird's get clipped often as they just sit in their pee! I'm not too fussed about what it looks like as i know they are clean and looked after but ive had sombody comment on it when looking in the rescue. Its not as if they got the stains here, they had it when they come in.

any idea how to get pee stains off a Crumpet, Cola and Smarty?

Lice n Easy shampoo is good for guineas with white on (brings them up really bright and clean looking), but there isn't really anything that I know of to remove the stains.

It's just something piggies will get, especially long haired breeds; the person who commented on it "should" realise that it's just how it is.

I agree with all the above :)

I know Fred isn't long haired, but he did keep sleeping in his wee and his whole bum was yellow instead of white. I bathed him in Manukeem & Neem from gorgeous guineas he is now back to white.

Also if they have any plastic Igloo's that have a bottom on them, I would take them out. As it allows them to sleep in there wee and you get one pee stained piggie! :))

I have 2 long hairs and one of them is always yellow around her bottom despite regular bathing and clipping. I don't like the way it looks but not much I can do.

I do remember when I washed her in lice and easy though and I think she did come up brighter.
