What scales are best for weighing the piggies in? How smaller graduations (steps) does it need to go up in? Is it best to use Kilograms/grams or Pounds/ounces? I'm really confused as what scales to use our kitchen scales are balancing ones where you put the weight on one end and then the item in the other and it goes down to 1/2 ounce (14 grams). Are these OK for weighing piggies? Where is the best place to get scales?/
Sorry for being dumbinbreedinginbreeding
Thanks:)

Balancing ones are not that suitable really, would only give you a roughish idea. I have used the typhoon type ones with a big dish on top, and like a clock underneath showing weight in lbs oz, then converted to grams on my phone. I have some flat salter digital ones now, probably from Argos, and I put a dish on them and sit the pig in the dish. Very accurate to 1g. xx

Not sure how much, Santa brought them. Probably only about £15 ish. They are very accurate. More accuracy is needed for poorly pigs and bubs I guess. xx

I am using my ordinary kitchen scales with a cracked oval plastic bowl just for the piggies. But then, I'm not planning on having babies!

I weigh in grams rather than ounces, but you can do whichever you feel more comfy with (as I am continental, that IS grams).

Yep I have digital ones too, about £12 from Morrisons, very accurate. I put a deeper bowl on top though (actually, it's a dog bowl! :x)
