My beloved Guinea Pig, Penzey, has some odd likings to these WEIRD foods! Post comments about some of your Guinea Pig's strange favorites.
1. No Sugar Corn Puffs
2. Plain Popcorn (no salt/butter)
3. Apple Tree Bark
4. Dragon fruit

A piggy should only be fed a tablespoon of good quality guinea pig nuggets/pellets a day, a bit of veg and hay, hay, hay, more hay, more more hay and even more hay than that! 80-90% of the diet should be hay if you want your piggy to lead a healthy and long life. Piggies are appetites with fur and will eat anything they find tasty. Please follow this Diet Guides in future and please no more feeding any human food.

:agr:
The weirdest food my pigs like is probably raspberry leaves, they go crazy over the stuff

No Sugar Corn Puffs are simply 100% corn (if you get the right ones). And the popcorn is the ones from the mini corn cobs that I just pop in the microwave. Dragon fruit is fine for Guinea Pigs, and Penzey is one of the only ones who actually like it! Apple tree bark is NOT human food.
Thanks for being considerate of my Guinea Pig, though! 😊

Guinea pigs shouldn’t each anything cooked, including popcorn. Are sugar corn puffs not a cereal?

I make specific Corn Puffs for my piggy. I have a machine that "Puffs" the corn for you. It's temperature turns the corn into steam, creating air pockets. This is NOT the Corn Puffs some people buy from stores, their 100% homemade from corn.

The popcorn is quite similar. I call the actual dish "Popcorn" On my YouTube channel, it shows the actual recipe. It's basically ordinary corn but placed on a DIY bowl made of corn husks. Sorry if I didn't make that very specific in the list...

This thread could cause confusion in the way of wording
Corn puffs are a cereal in the UK and never to be fed to pigs. Corn is fine

Popcorn is one the jury is out on, there are several questions on the forum about it. Guinea pigs shouldn’t have cooked food and their diet should be as natural as possible... Also popcorn may get trapped in teeth....
