weird hooting noises

i woke up this morning and my female one year old piggy is making weird hooting noises, it sounds like something would be up her noise but she stops making the noise when she’s eating hay and her food

could it be due to the heat? it’s rlly hot today and i’m trying to keep the room cool but it’s warmer than usual, or is something wrong?
what can i do
i can’t go to the vet today due to working

Piggies have narrow airways and any obstruction does make an obvious sound. If it sounds like it is coming from her nose then it’s possible it’s a bit of hay but we would always recommend a vet check for any health concerns and any breathing noises do need to be checked out in case it isn’t something like a hay dust obstruction
