Hi, my new piggy developed a weird hair loss on her bottom, it looks like blood was drawn as well. Any suggestions? Thank you

The only thing I can think of is it's a bite that might have become infected. Whatever it is l would go & see a vet, in case he needs antibiotics.

It could be a bite, when it happened with mine the bite did just look like a line but if it's got more sore it could look like that.i just used Luke warm salt water and if they'res not much hair on it abit of savlon cream isn't gonna hurt. Mine healed lovely, but he had to be paired with another piggy as he was getting bullied.

It looks either like a bite or even an infected grease gland? Sows do have them. Though it looks a bit too high up for that. Other possibility is fungal. I would see the vet and go from there. How is she in herself?

The white patch on her ear does look fungal to me but needs a vet diagnosis. There are many types of fungal, not just Ringworm but I will post our guide below in case. Does she live with othet pigs?

I agree that she needs to see a vet for formal diagnosis and the proper treatment. That looks very sore. Poor thing. Please let us know how you get on at the vets.
